About the Album
The songs on the “Odyssey” album were inspired by Homer’s “The Odyssey.” But you don’t need to know the story to relate to the songs. After the Trojan War, Ulysses is anxious to return to his wife, Penelope. Behind all the fantastical creatures and episodes are emotions and moments we can all relate to and we put into accessible modern songs. It’s essentially a love story with a happy ending as Ulysses is reunited with his wife and son. So “Love Wins” is the opening song of our album. The song “Free Man” was inspired by the elation of escaping from the giant Cyclops (who devoured several of his men).
