About the Album
Peyote Moon’s "Dreaming West" album is both a concept album and a musical journey rooted in the American West. It’s not a single story, but a collection of stories, character songs, and Americana songs. Musically the songs take on a sound and a soundscape inspired by western, rock, bluegrass, country, Americana and gospel music. Running through the songs is a spiritual theme: the heart’s yearning for a better home, a deep spiritual connection to the divine, the God of our fathers and the land.
